This guide explains the process of locating Virtual Keys within the CellGate App. Virtual Keys are a visitor managment feature available on all Watchman mult-family intercom systems.
Users who have been granted administrator privileges, and have virtual keys enabled within their account and group settings, can access these keys directly from the CellGate app interface.
Accessing Virtual Keys
- Enable Virtual Keys: 1st, ensure that Virtual Keys are enabled in your account and group settings. If this does not appear there, please refer to the TrueCloud Connect guide for step-by-step instructions on activating it.
- Launch the CellGate App: Open the CellGate app on your device.
- Navigate to the Menu: Tap the menu icon located in the top left corner.
- Select ‘Virtual Keys’: From the dropdown menu, select the ‘Virtual Keys’ option.
- Access the Virtual Keys Page: This action will redirect you to the dedicated Virtual Keys page, serving as your central hub for creating either Individual Keys, Temporary Event Keys, or Single Use Keys.

On the Virtual Keys page, you can manage and create different types of virtual keys:
- Individual Keys: Ideal for ongoing, recurring access.
- Temporary Event Keys: Suitable for one-time events like parties.
- Single Use Keys: Perfect for single-event entry access, like food deliveries.
