One credential, two formats
A Visitor Pass is an Access Credential you issue to a guest, vendor, or delivery, delivered by text or email and used at the gate. Every pass comes in one of two formats: a QR code the visitor scans with their phone, or a PIN code they type on the keypad. QR is fast and refreshes on use so a screenshot cannot be reused; PIN needs no smartphone and works even if connectivity is briefly down. All pass activity is logged in the TrueCloud Connect platform, including denied attempts.
Recurring: ongoing access on a schedule
A Recurring pass grants repeat entry on an ongoing schedule, ideal for a dog walker, landscaper, pool cleaner, or regular babysitter. Recurring passes are QR, refresh after each use, and can be saved to the visitor’s phone wallet or calendar.
Temporary: a set window for events and stays
A Temporary pass grants group or repeated access for a defined window, good for parties, movers, events, or out-of-town guests. Available as a QR pass (up to 24 hours) or a PIN pass (up to 7 days).
Single-Use: one secure entry
A Single-Use pass permits one secure, auditable entry, then expires automatically, ideal for a delivery, a service technician, or a real estate showing. Choose QR or PIN. Because it expires after its first valid use, there is nothing to cancel afterward and no lingering access to clean up.
