Introduction
This video explains how a property adminstrator can override an existing gate schedule on their Watchman visitor management product using the TrueCloud Connect dashboard. TrueCloud Connect™ is CellGate’s proprietary back-end architecture that manages all data flow between product hardware, the internet, cellular networks, landline phones, smartphone apps, and the administrative web portal. Knowing how to override schedules is crucial for maintaining flexibility and control over your property’s access points.
Overriding an Existing Schedule
- Log In to TrueCloud Connect: Use your login credentials to access the dashboard.
- Locate the Override Function: Find the “Override” option under “Actions,” to the far right of the “Trigger Gate” button.
- Access Alternative Schedules and Blackouts:
- Click on “Alternative Schedules and Blackouts.”
- Select “Add” to create a new override.
- Set the Override Schedule:
- Choose the Type of Override: Change the “Hold Open” schedule to a “Blackout” day if needed.
