What TrueCloud Connect is
TrueCloud Connect sits between the hardware in the field and the people who manage it. Every Watchman, every Entría controller, every OmniPoint Gateway, and every camera reports to it, and every administrator works through it.
Hosting by Microsoft Azure is what makes that dependable: room to scale, redundancy so one failure is not an outage, and the security posture of a major cloud provider. The platform also integrates with property management software including RealPage and Yardi, which puts properties, residents, and solutions in one place.
One controller for every conversation
TrueCloud Connect acts as the master controller. It carries traffic between devices, computers, smartphones, and ordinary phone lines, and it keeps the record: every event, including the photos CellGate devices capture, alongside access credentials, device schedules, and notification rules.
Software upgrades are applied centrally, so an enhancement reaches every property at once instead of waiting on a service call.
Why IP matters
Every device communicates over IP rather than text messaging. For a security system that difference is the whole game: IP connections are faster, more reliable, and verifiable in a way that a text message is not.
The IP design is also what makes the richer capabilities possible, including multiple cameras on one site, voice over IP, and live video telephone entry (video intercom) streamed over cellular LTE.
