Installing Dealer
Have passed the Installer Track and receive:

Step 1
Contact Your Sales Representative
Speak to your CellGate sales representative. The sales representative will set up a kickoff meeting with the learning & development team to get your certification path created. Already completed courses in CellGate Academy? Those will automatically count toward your certification track.
Step 2
Learn
Complete role-specific training modules through the Dealer Certification Program at your own pace. These courses are designed to make you a better rounded security access professional whether you are an installer or an administrative professional.
Step 3
Earn CEU Credits
Pass your Dealer Certification Program courses, grow your knowledge, make installs easier and quicker, all while earning continuing education unit credits (CEUs) that are accepted by Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation (IDEA) and the American Fence Association (AFA).
Step 4
Get Certified
Receive your course completion certificates and shareable completion badges as a certified dealer. Get priority access to our Technical Support Hotline for faster assistance, co-branding templates, and eligible swag and decals. Platinum dealers also get an additional year on their CellGate product warranties.

Installer Track
Required for all dealers, this foundational certification covers hardware installation best practices, system testing techniques, and troubleshooting procedures.

Is this company or individual certification?
Company level. The number of learners required depends on your business model and will be determined during your onboarding call.
How long does certification last?
Three years, with short annual updates to stay current.
How long does it take to complete?
Each course can take anywhere from 15 minutes to a few hours, depending on your knowledge and background. They are made to be quick, simple, and straightforward.
What if staff changes?
No problem. You can easily register new employees at any time. New employees can also transfer completed courses to you, if they have previously completed the program with another company.
When can we enroll?
Enrollment opens October 21, 2025.
Do we get physical merchandise?
On top of downloadable seals and certificates, we will mail you a package of CellGate swag that includes Certified Dealer hats and window decals.
How do we use the LinkedIn certification seal?
Download from "Resources & Downloads," then add to your LinkedIn company or personal profiles per the usage guide.
Do Platinum Certified Dealers get extended warranty coverage?
Yes! Platinum Certified Dealers receive extended warranty coverage on all new CellGate installations, providing additional protection and peace of mind for your customers.
What benefits are included?
