Mark Bentsen

Chief Information Officer

Mark brings a cross-industry technology background spanning logistics, financial services, healthcare technology, and security engineering. He spent ten years at FedEx in technology roles and later led quality and machine learning testing to build banking software and fraud-detection products, experience that informs his pragmatic, risk-aware approach to modern AI, automation, and cybersecurity programs.

Outside of CellGate, Mark is also the IEEE Co-chair of the Dallas Reliability Society. He is a co-founder of Secure IVAI, focused on responsible AI implementation and assurance. Mark also teaches and mentors through University of Texas at Dallas initiatives and regularly speaks on “people first, AI forward enterprise scalability”, software quality, reliability, and AI governance.
