Open the Visitor Passes screen
- Open the CellGate app and tap the menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select Access Credentials, then Visitor Passes.
- Make sure you are on the QR Code Visitor Pass tab, not the PIN Code tab. This is the step people miss: the pass type you create depends on which tab you are on.
- Tap Create Visitor Pass at the bottom of the screen.
1) Name it and set when it begins
- Choose QR Single-Use Visitor Pass.
- Name the pass. This is what the guest will see, so use their name or purpose.
- Select when the pass will begin working. A single-use pass has a limit of 24 hours.
- Press Save.
2) Choose the gates
Select which gate or gates the QR code will work at, then click OK. Grant only the entrances the guest needs.
