Who this is for. Installers and dealers mounting an Entría Single Door Controller in a mullion. Follow the printed Entría Installation Guide alongside this video for the exact wiring overview and specs. This is a DC-powered system; always match the correct polarity and keep wire runs under 60 feet.
What this video covers
1) What is in the box
Inside the box you will find the Entría unit, a 12V power supply, and a customer information packet. For wiring, use a six-conductor shielded cable for the main device, and if you are adding an optional 26-bit Wiegand reader, use a four-conductor shielded cable. This is a DC-powered system, so always match the correct polarity and keep wire runs under 60 feet for best results.
2) Wire the main device and readers
Follow the wiring overview in the installation guide. Use the six-conductor shielded cable for the main device and a four-conductor shielded cable for an optional 26-bit Wiegand reader. If you are adding an additional WAN device, it must have its own power supply.
3) Door control and relay options
Connect your door control for either normally open or normally closed operation, whether dry contact or wet contact relay. For wet-contact relays, you must install a diode to maintain the warranty, refer to CellGate’s diode instructions for proper installation.
4) Mount the unit
To mount, mark your holes, drill them, cut the wiring hole, and secure the mount to the wall. Slide the Entría unit into place and fasten it with the screws provided. Your Entría Single Door Controller Mullion is ready to go. For help, call CellGate at 855-694-2837, option 2, or visit cell-gate.com.
Once installed, the controller is registered and set up in the app. See Entría Single Door Controller self registration to activate it.
