Who this is for. Installers and dealers mounting an Entría Single Door Controller. Follow the printed Entría Installation Guide alongside this video for exact measurements and specs. This system uses DC power; keep wire runs under 60 feet.
What this video covers
1) What you need before you start
Have everything on hand first: the Entría unit, a 12V 5A power supply, and the proper wiring, six-conductor cable for the main device and four-conductor cable for any Wiegand readers. Remember this system uses DC power, and CellGate recommends keeping wire runs under 60 feet.
2) Connectivity and power
For a wired internet (VPN) connection, run the customer’s internet line into the Entría device. For a cellular setup, secure your wiring and leave the SIM card in place, CellGate support handles the SIM, so do not remove it.
To power the device, connect your transformer positive to plus (+) and negative to minus (−). If you are using 12-gauge wire, splice it down so it fits in the terminal. For solar power, connect in this order: blue board, battery, then solar panel. Check the in-hand router lights to confirm everything is working.
3) Wire the blue board
On the blue board, connect power, the gate triggers, and any additional readers. For gate-status wiring, always use a dry-contact output to avoid damaging the board. If you are using wet-contact relays, install the diode as instructed to keep your warranty valid.
4) Mount, ground, and test
When you are ready to mount the unit, align it on the pedestal using the pre-drilled holes and secure it tightly. Be sure to ground the device with a 14-gauge wire for safety. Finally, power everything up and test the system. Follow these steps and you will have a clean, reliable installation every time.
Once installed, the controller is registered and set up in the app. See Entría Single Door Controller self registration to activate it.
