When a visitor calls from the gate, the CellGate app rings your phone with live video so you can see who it is and let them in with one tap. This shows how to answer a video call and open the gate, or turn it down.
If you are set up to receive video calls, visitors can reach you from the gate using the device directory. As long as you are logged into the app with notifications enabled, a pop-up appears when someone calls you through the directory.
1) Answer the call
Tap the blue check mark on the pop-up. You will then see live video of the person standing at the gate, so you can confirm who it is before deciding anything.
2) Open the gate, or deny access
With the visitor on screen, you have two choices: tap Open to open the gate and let them in, or tap the red X to end the call and deny access. To grant access ahead of time instead of live, you can send a Visitor Pass.
