Entering the property with an access code
The Watchman WXL has a touchscreen SmartScreen. To enter with your code, tap the keypad on the SmartScreen and type in your access code. The guide above shows the on-screen keypad and where to enter your code.
Entering the property with a guest QR code
If you were sent a guest QR code, tap the Guest QR Code button on the SmartScreen. The screen will prompt you to hold your QR code up to the screen, lined up inside the yellow brackets. The guide shows the button and the scan screen.
Calling a resident
Tap the Directory button to reach a resident. From there you have two options:
1. Search for a resident by name. Tap Press here to search by name, find the resident in the list, then press to call.
2. Use a directory code. Every resident has a directory code given to them by the property manager. Type the resident’s directory code, then press to call them. (Some devices do not have this option.)
Speed dial buttons
The SmartScreen can also show Speed Dial buttons with icons for quick calls. The guide above shows how these appear on your Watchman WXL.
