Our Fire Alarm Control Function connects your fire alarm to your entry points. When the alarm activates, the system triggers your desired action, opening some or all assigned doors and gates. When the fire alarm event ends, the system closes those entries and restores normal access control.
Beyond triggering entry points, the system automatically sends text notifications and e-mails to designated individuals the moment a fire alarm event occurs.
This functionality is available on all Watchman® multifamily models: W461/W462, W480/W482, and WXL/WXL2, and on OmniPoint® Entry Point Modules (EPMs), and is administered through the TrueCloud Connect™ platform.
Call Support at 1-855-694-2837, Option 3 to initially set up the fire alarm input within TrueCloud Connect.
Once the input is set up in your account, it shows up as a “device” in TrueCloud Connect.
