TrueCloud Connect™ is the name of CellGate’s secure, IP-based, proprietary back-end architecture, & the brand name for its cloud-based portal. TrueCloud Connect acts as a master controller, where all data flow between product hardware, the internet, AT&T & Verizon cellular networks, land line phones, cameras, our smart phone app & the customer-facing administrative portal occurs.
TrueCloud Connect is hosted on Microsoft Azure®, which provides a robust platform with security, unlimited scalability, system redundancy, backup power sources and multiple paths to the internet. TrueCloud Connect’s architecture also provides for API integrations with 3rd party software platforms like RealPage and Yardi.
Because all hardware transaction data flows through TrueCloud Connect, records of every event are stored there — including pictures from CellGate devices. This allows owners to know exactly what happens at their property, by whom and when. User credentials, device schedules and notifications are configured and stored in TrueCloud Connect as well.
Software upgrades can be made to the centralized system, which means that the latest enhancements are immediately available to everyone, instantly, without the need to manage software updates on local computers or on physical hardware. Because TrueCloud Connect is accessed through the CellGate app and any web browser, all features are available anywhere.
Access to TrueCloud Connect is managed by login credentials so different permissions and devices can be viewed and managed based on the administrator’s discretion. Management of multiple properties can also occur using just a single login, making property portfolio management seamless.
Most competitor systems manage communication flow in separate, non-integrated “silos.” CellGate controls & manages everything end-to-end within a single system.
In addition, as new technologies and protocols become popular and cost-effective, we can adjust TrueCloud Connect accordingly.
