What this video covers
- Which Watchman model suits which kind of property
- The built-in HD camera, photo capture, and up to three external cameras
- Adding a CG Infinity or Halo Reader to widen access options
- TrueCloud Connect for settings, credentials, and access activity
- Live video, gate control, and issuing passes from the CellGate app
- Dual-network flexibility, wired internet or cellular LTE
1) The hardware
The line splits along one question: does the entry point need a resident directory? Keypad models with a single call group suit a single-family property or most commercial sites. Touchscreen models add a directory and QR or PIN Code visitor management, which is what a multifamily community needs at the front gate.
- Watchman W410, telephone entry with photo capture.
- Watchman W450 and W452, live streaming video with a single call group.
- Watchman W461 and W462, an 8 inch touchscreen with QR and PIN Codes.
- Watchman W480 and W482, the premium large touchscreen.
- Watchman WXL and WXL2, an 11 inch touchscreen built for apartment communities.
Every model carries an internal HD camera for live video and photographs each access attempt. Where one angle is not enough, add up to three external cameras for wider views of visitors and vehicles. An optional CG Reader, Infinity or Halo, widens how residents and visitors get in at the gate.
2) TrueCloud Connect
The TrueCloud Connect platform manages the hardware, the data transport, and the credentials. Administrators add residents and staff, adjust settings, and review access activity there.
Every CellGate solution across every property sits behind that one login, so access can be issued or revoked from anywhere, on demand, without visiting a device.
3) The CellGate app
The CellGate app is the everyday half: live video of whoever is at the gate, open and close on demand, photo history when you want to check what happened earlier, and QR or PIN Code Visitor Passes for guests. What any one person can do depends on the permissions granted to them.
Dual-network flexibility
Here is what sets CellGate apart: it is the only company offering dual-network flexibility across a fully integrated product line, supporting both cellular LTE and wired internet for data transport, all managed through a single login.
At an entry point that decides the install. A gate with a network drop nearby uses it. A gate without one does not have to wait for trenching.
“Wireless where you need it. Wired where you have it.”

Common questions
What is live video telephone entry?
It lets you see and speak with a visitor at the entry point, then grant access remotely from your phone. The call finds you rather than ringing an empty box at the gate.
Which Watchman model is right for my property?
Keypad models with a single call group are usually right for single-family properties and many commercial sites. Touchscreen models with a resident directory and QR or PIN Code visitor management are typically the fit for multifamily communities.
How is access activity stored?
The built-in camera photographs access attempts, and TrueCloud Connect makes that activity visible to administrators according to your system configuration and their permissions.
Know who is on your property, and when
That is what Watchman is for: a clear record of who came to the entry point and when, with access that stays quick to grant and quick to take back. Contact your local dealer or a CellGate security specialist to work out which model belongs at your gate.
