CellGate provides total property wireless access with modern, cost-effective technology options that gated communities, campuses, and businesses have been waiting for.

CellGate solutions include the Watchman line of video telephone entry with visitor management and access control for vehicle gates and walkup entrances. Additionally, the revolutionary OmniPoint wireless multi-point access control system addresses all other entry points on a property that need access, control, or monitoring. Both Watchman and OmniPoint are controlled via CellGate’s TrueCloud Connect web portal and the CellGate app, providing properties with a seamless, completely integrated security solution.

What does a CellGate total property solution look like?

Watchman devices feature color touchscreen displays and live streaming video of visitors. With the display, visitors can scroll or type to find the name of the person they have come to see. Watchman can call up to nine contacts for each listing, ensuring calls rarely go unanswered. Additionally, QR code visitor passes can be sent by the resident from the CellGate app via text or email, simplifying visitor management for visitors, residents, and property managers.

Watchman devices come equipped with numeric keypads, HID card readers, and up to three Wiegand ports for other types of credentials like RFID or to control additional entry points such as pedestrian gates. The integrated camera and up to three external cameras capture pictures of visitors, including license plates in other views. These pictures, along with all access event logs, are stored on the TrueCloud Connect portal. Watchman systems operate on either Verizon or AT&T LTE networks or with a hardwired internet connection, making them versatile for installation in various locations.

Once a property’s perimeter, entrances, and visitor management needs are addressed, CellGate’s OmniPoint can cost-effectively secure other access points on a property, making it an ideal solution for multi-family residential gate security.

What is OmniPoint?

OmniPoint is a multi-point wireless access control system that covers large properties without the need for data wires or control panels. It works with any 26-bit Wiegand device and can control door locks, gate operators, and overhead doors, similar to wired systems. Every OmniPoint system utilizes two types of hardware: a gateway and the individual Entry Point Modules (EPMs) for each door.

The gateway communicates with CellGate servers via hardwired ethernet or cellular on Verizon or AT&T LTE networks, and with the EPMs using LoRa technology. LoRa is a worldwide standard utilized in industries requiring long-range capabilities and reliability. It has excellent building penetration and does not require line of sight. With OmniPoint, entrances on a property can be located up to a half-mile from the installed gateway, and each gateway supports up to 100 entry points. Many properties will only need a single gateway to control all of their doors, as no long-distance data wires are required. During installation, the only wires needed are for power and local connections to the card reader and lock.

Once a property has installed OmniPoint and Watchman, both systems can be controlled via the TrueCloud Connect portal and the CellGate app, providing comprehensive access control solutions.

TrueCloud Connect Portal

TrueCloud Connect is a web-based system hosted by Microsoft Azure. Its unique design allows the integration of CellGate’s multiple technologies into one administrative system where access control, video, intercom, and pictures are all managed with a single user interface. TrueCloud Connect master administrators can assign user profiles with different access level permissions, defining user groups that can use certain entrances at specific times. The TrueCloud Connect dashboard provides access to essential functions like triggering a gate or door, checking gate or door status, creating schedules, and reviewing logs of access transactions, including pictures of visitors.

There is a section for managing residents, where new users are set up, and credentials with time, date, or day restrictions are created. TrueCloud Connect also defines the user’s contacts and sequence of calls from Watchman devices. Property managers can select who can use Watchman’s QR code visitor function and see who has sent QR code invites, how many were sent, and when they were utilized, including pictures of each person using a QR code to enter.

CellGate App

Residents can see and speak to their visitors from the app, grant entry, and send QR codes to visitors. Property management can control and check gate or door status, take photos from system cameras, and more. With OmniPoint and Watchman, CellGate truly provides total property wireless access.

Additional Features for Multi-Family Residential Gate Security

For multi-family residential gate security solutions, CellGate offers advanced features including video intercom systems for apartment buildings, intercoms wireless for home, and comprehensive building entry systems. These solutions cater to the specific needs of multi-family residences, ensuring secure and efficient access control.
